• If it's high or low season
• If it's a weekday or weekend
• If it's an extended holiday

The Good

  • It’s windows face the street so it has a fantastic airflow.
  • Easy access: since it is near Tupiniquim’s entrance it is a piece of cake to go in or out of the hostel.
  • Also it’s next to the reception so you can rapidly solve any issues, befriend the receptionists and get the best hints of tours and what to do in Rio.
  • It’s location makes it a cool room even in the summer.

The Bad

  • Since it is next to the reception and Tupiniquim's entrance it is a bit noisier than the other privates of the 1st & 2nd floors.
  • There is a little street market on Saturday mornings and the sellers do talk very loud (but hey: they make a fantastic sugar cane juice)
